Mia Love: Comments Made Were “Racist, Unfortunate But I Wasn’t In The Room”

Many Trump supporters are angered that Rep. Mia Love is speaking up for her parents country, but you can’t expect her to do differently.

If I were advising Mia, I would instruct her to say ‘I was not in the room and neither were you.” I would also remind the media how they quickly took sides with Sen. Dick Durbin but discounted Republican accounts so how can this even be objective. Even President Trump has denied using those exact words but the media doesn’t care, they are out for blood as they smell red meat in the water.

I do remember Mia refused to vote for Trump and didn’t go to the Republican National Convention because of him and I called her out on both. I do understand this interview was emotional for her but why can’t lawmakers just tell the truth and walk out with their heads hanging high. She stumbled when being asked if Trump was racist. If she believes Trump is racist then say it and if she doesn’t then say it. Why waffle on the question. Her history has already shown her intentions, do you agree?

She also sounds like she is ok with DACA recipients getting full citizenship rights and that is not a Republican talking point.

Referring to immigrants from African countries, Trump asked lawmakers during an Oval Office meeting on immigration reform, “Why do we want all these people from ‘shithole countries’ coming here?” a source briefed on the meeting told CNN.

What was really tough was the outlandish proposal made – a big setback for DACA!” Trump tweeted on Friday. Love, whose parents immigrated from Haiti, told “State of the Union” that she thinks the President’s comments were racist.

“I think they were, yes. I think they were unfortunate. I don’t know if they were taken — I wasn’t in the room. I know the comments were made. I don’t know in which context they were made,” she said. “I’m looking forward to finding out what happened, but more importantly, I’m looking forward to fixing the problem.”

Love also told “State of the Union” that she was contacted by the White House to discuss immigration reform. “I don’t know if those comments would be made if I was in the room,” she said.

I still believe Sen. Dick Durbin lied to the media. He didn’t get what he wanted in Thursday’s meeting and ran to the nearest reporter and lied. I would think people would be used to the leftist lies by now.

Americans need an alternative to the mainstream media. That’s why we exist. Donate $10 today and help us continue to fight!

As I said, I understand why Mia is doing what she is doing, but sometimes you need somebody who will stand up against the media and tell it like it is and the media is trying to ruin Trump anyway and every way they can. I don’t think Trump said these things and if there were proof, I would call him out, but until then I won’t admit to something I know nothing about. Trump is not like this no matter what the liberals say.
