Well, Texas Governor Greg Abbott isn’t having it. He deployed additional Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers to the border to show that he means business and Texas will not succumb to these illegal flows of illegals.

Law enforcement officers lined their police cars up near Eagle Pass, Texas in conjunction with the border patrol agents to show a large force that will, if necessary, push back against illegal entry into our country.

Eagles Pass is a particular section of the border between U.S.-Mexico that doesn’t have a physical barrier so this is needed.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s personal Twitter feed posted this: Texans ask: what’s going on at Eagle Pass? Below is a picture & statement showing that TX Dept. of Public Safety is on top of it. As part of our border security plan we keep DPS on the border with boats & planes. They work with local & federal authorities to enforce the law.
