Instagram model and wife of Kanye West, Kim Kardashian wants to become a lawyer.
The reality television star is studying law and hopes to pass her California bar exams by 2022, the magazine Vogue reported on Wednesday. Kardashian has been interning at a San Francisco law firm and has a master plan to take the bar exam by 2022.
She got started last summer with support and consulting from attorney Jessica Jackson and CNN’s Van Jones.
The 38-year-old lifestyle mogul, who has 134 million Instagram followers, has been interning at a California law firm since last year. She said she was inspired to study law after successfully petitioning US President Donald Trump last year to pardon Alice Marie Johnson.
Admission to law school in the United States usually requires a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Kardashian never graduated from the college she attended, Pierce, having dropped out before she completed her course.
But some states including California do allow would-be attorneys to intern in a law firm for four years before taking the bar exam.

I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. If she’s found a genuine passion and a vocation to help others, good for her. That sounds like a maturing experience, and if it turns out to make her a more rounded person and contribute more to society than just tabloid fodder, then I’ll give her my sincere applause.
