CNN probably thought they had a “sure bet” pro-impeachment guest when they booked Trump-hater John Kasich.
I can’t think of a time when John Kasich has not jumped at the chance to attack, demean, belittle, or smear President Trump.
Except this time…
Kasich appeared on CNN’s low-rated morning news show “New Day,” with host Alisyn Camerota.
When Camerota asked Kasich about the possible impeachment of President Trump over his phone call with the Ukraine President, he balked.
Hey Dems, you know you’re in trouble when “Johnny Pancakes” isn’t on board.
Kasich actually made some really good points. His argument was basically: if you can impeach anyone, for anything, you take away the importance of impeachment.
This is something that the left is famous for. They run issues into the ground in their effort to cram it down our collective throats at warp speed.
Let me give you an example of this.
The word racist – it once meant something when someone called you a “racist.” At one time in this country, if somebody called you a “racist,” you’d be horrified. I know I would be. It was powerful, it had meaning behind it. It stood for something ugly, harsh, and unacceptable.
But now? Not so much. Democrats have diluted the meaning, because they’ve called all of us racist 10 thousand times a day.
I’m called “racist” by liberals online all day, everyday, just because I support President Trump. I just shrug my shoulders and move on.
This Would Be Amazing: Senate Impeachment Trial Means Trump Can Put Hillary, Obama and Deep State on Trial
Calling me “racist” now, is like calling me “blonde.” It has zero impact on me, because the definition of “racism” has been lost in the hysteria of and craziness of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
If everyone is racist, nobody is racist.
This is exactly what Dems are doing with impeachment.
During the interview, Kasich asked a poignant question, he wondered “does one phone call at this point in time lead to impeachment?” Kasich then went on to say that Congress was moving too fast.
“This is not a light matter,” Kasich said, “if all of a sudden everybody can be impeached, then it has no power.”
I never thought I’d say this about this guy, but he’s 100% right.
