Joy Villa did a fantastic job analyzing and breaking down Gianno Caldwell’s argument about taking down these statues to satisfy Democrats.
Joy is not a recognized conservative, and she seemed to be the more conservative of the two with her common sense. Watching Gianno, who is a GOP strategist, use the Democrat talking points the other day and then tear up was a shock to me. I haven’t got over it yet, and I don’t know if I will.
“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street and building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” George Orwell ”1984”.
Taking down a statue is not erasing history. History will always be there. We have museums and books. So with or without them, the past won’t change.
Joy took a dig at Caldwell around the 8:27 mark of the video and it was a slam, believe it.
This is so beyond the left and the right at this point. So many individuals are jumping on bandwagons and don’t even fully understand what they’re fighting for. Joy made some great points, and I applaud her.
If people want to remove the statues, do it legally and not on juvenile emotion! Find out how it needs to be done, petition the city or state, etc., but do it legally! Don’t tear it down like rioters or remove it in the middle of the night like thieves.
Why is it these statues been up all these years, now they are offensive? These are crying, snowflakes, time out babies that didn’t get there way because Hillary didn’t win. Remember the Confederate flag in South Carolina that Democrats wanted down and how things were supposed to get better.
Well, they didn’t.
