John Boehner Returns With A Message For 2020 Possible GOP Candidate John Kasich!

Not only is John Kasich not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but the drawer is also empty, to begin with!

Former Speaker of the House John Boehner has some words for Ohio’s former Governor John Kasich, who is allegedly thinking about taking on President Trump in 2020 for the White House.

Don’t do it. Just don’t do it.

That just about sums up Boehner’s advice for the jilted GOP Governor who hasn’t been on board the Trump Train since it left the station in 2016. Kasich thought he had a great chance of winning the nomination and was angry that a New York businessman, successful, appeared out of nowhere to claim the mantle.

I suspect but cannot prove that Kasich and 2020 GOP Presidential candidate Bill Weld understand that they cannot win but have some source of “campaign” or “otherwise” funding that can be diverted to their own personal wealth if they pursue this to try to damage the president during primary season.

Former Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said he “wouldn’t bother” launching a primary challenge against President Trump if he were former Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R).

“No, I wouldn’t — I wouldn’t bother if I were him,” Boehner said during an interview on NBC host Chuck Todd’s podcast, “Chuck Toddcast,” according to Politico Playbook. The episode is set to be released Wednesday.

Boehner added that Trump has enough support across the country to fend off a primary challenge in 2020.

“There’s this 38 percent of America that’s very big supporters of President Trump. And you know, they’re gonna show up and vote for him,” he said. [The Hill]

Every time I hear the Kasich, I keep remembering that loop tape coming out of his mouth, over, and over, and over again. “Polls show that I am the only candidate that can beat Hillary Clinton” hiccup, “Polls show that I am the only candidate that can beat Hillary Clinton” hiccup.

How on earth does this idiot think he can challenge Trump (I doubt he could win Ohio in a 2020 Primary). Moreover, his politics are more in line with Democrats than Republicans.

I think career politicians like Kasich are driven by an irresistible compulsion to run for office. It’s what they are good at. It’s a crying shame that such people are usually dumb as doornails and don’t belong anywhere near a taxpayer’s hard earned dollar.

Weld has no future in the GOP, so challenging Trump risks nothing but his donors’ money. Similarly, Governor Larry Hogan has few prospects of advancement in Maryland, and thus faces little risk. Come to think of it, Kasich has burned his GOP bridges as well. So he also can run without any political risk to himself despite the hopeless of his task.
