It was my pleasure to interview Dean Cain and Alfonzo Rachel a couple of weeks ago.
These two men took on a challenge, and that challenge was to bring before you the story, the heinous account of Kermit Gosnell, one of the world’s most prolific serial killers. Gosnell killed babies without a conscience and also unknowingly to me, sold drugs with his wife out of his house.
Both Cain and Rachel gave me their analysis and breakdown that helped them cope with making the movie and learning things that not only made the hair on their arms stand up but each man had to go through some soul-searching.
Nick Searcy directed this movie and also starred in it. This one, you have to go and check out in the movie theaters and support the story. Don’t let this one pass you by. The media already turned their back on the story so you wouldn’t know the horrors. Abortion is real and this doctor was Satan incarnate.

The film tells the story of abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell, who was sentenced to life in prison after authorities discovered he’d been killing live babies after birth. Gosnell aborted babies after the legal limit of 24 weeks gestation in what became known as the “House of Horrors.” He was also responsible for the death of 41-year-old Karnamaya Mongar who died of a drug overdose during her abortion.
Gosnell operated the Women’s Medical Society in West Philadelphia starting in 1979, but wasn’t investigated until February 2010 when the FBI and the Pennsylvania Department of Health raided his clinic on drug charges. His license was suspended shortly thereafter and his trial began in March 2013. The jury found Gosnell guilty on three of four murder charges as well as guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
“In all my years of journalism, this was the most shocking evidence I’ve ever heard,” another film producer, Phelim McAleer, said after seeing photos of Gosnell’s victims and hearing evidence from witnesses. “People don’t want this story out – we need to get it out,” he said, explaining that production of the film had turned him from a pro-choice reporter to a pro-life one.
This film opens up this weekend nationwide. I am proud that I sent in money to help make it because the story had to be told. I know the delays in the release of the movie were maddening but maybe it was due to divine intervention. For the first time in my life, we have the votes to overturn abortion. This movie might just help.
The idea had been out there for a few years now, and now it’s time to give the world a lesson in the sanctity of life and preservation.
