Apparently, according to Rev. Jesse Jackson, the biggest problem facing African-Americans today are conservatives – specifically, the tea party, which Jackson directly equates to the confederacy.
“The tea party is the resurrection of the Confederacy, it’s the Fort Sumter tea party,” Jackson told Thrush after saying that he “absolutely” believes Republicans oppose Obama strictly because the president is black.
I have a solution, why can’t we just agree that before a person opens their mouth to give their opinion on a political issue that they should actually know what they’re talking about?
The Confederacy never died, they are not just into physical slavery and racial segregation anymore. They are now into economic slavery and social engineering; if you don’t understand me, you simply have to look at demographic data and statistics on unemployment, incarceration, poor education, homicide, abortion, poverty, etc.., and see the race which is disproportionately affected. And frankly, none of those things have anything whatsoever to do with a grassroots movement that wants limited government, lower taxes, and fiscal responsibility by government.
Progressivism is by far more effective than physical slavery and segregation, and through progressive social engineering in the past half a century, the new Confederacy have achieved their goals, while being loved for it by ignorant victims. Throughout 100 years of lynching of black people by racists, only 5,000 blacks were lynched; but in the past 42 years, more than 262,000 blacks have been killed by fellow blacks; if you think this is a mere coincidence, you might need to have your head examined. The progressive social engineers are one hell of a genius.
The Confederacy did not need a “resurrection”; they only had to enter stealth mode, which they have done successfully. The only thing worse than slavery by coercion, is voluntary slavery.
Truth of the matter is that conservatism and Ronald Reagan did more for black unempolyment than Pelosi, Reid, and Obama every cam close too.
