You naysayers out there think this is a partisan idea but this is perhaps the best decision House Republicans have made in a long time.
The old quote says a house divided against itself cannot stand and in this case, a house that investigates itself will never find out the truth.
The DOJ and FBI did some real shady things under the Barack Obama administration, and if the truth ever came out and we had prosecutors who believed in the law and were willing to uphold serving justice, America would be a much better place. These days, we have ceremonial representatives who play kabuki theater for the television tubs and their constituents back home.
Hopefully, this is not the case. I find it very important that we hire a 2nd special counsel that will be independent of the FBI and DOJ and someone who is not a brand name but can be trusted to get the job done like the Inspector General has been doing about the Hillary Clinton/Anthony Weiner investigation.

A group of congressional Republicans plans to introduce a resolution Tuesday calling for the appointment of a second special counsel to investigate alleged misconduct at the FBI and Justice Department.
The resolution is backed by Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., the chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus as well as two of the group’s co-founders — Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla.
Fox News has learned the 12-page resolution will ask a second special counsel to probe matters related to three topics: The ending of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s personal email server, the progress of the Trump-Russia investigation from its origins through the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel, and abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) during the warrant application process.
The resolution is expected to say that a second special counsel would have greater autonomy to investigate those issues than the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General. Last week, Inspector General Michael Horowitz told lawmakers that he had completed his draft report on the Clinton investigation and submitted it to the DOJ and the FBI.
Not sure where AG Sessions is, seems to have been absorbed into the woodwork.
For Rosenstein to pass this off to the Inspector General is a dodge in my opinion. The IG has limited powers and would take over a year even to get a report. A special council or a prosecutor and a grand jury are needed to investigate this national disgrace criminally.
This slimy 3rd world-banana republic type-deep state-nefarious shadow operations must not be allowed in our government and sadly because of the corrupt lawlessness of the disgraceful Obama administration this element is still teaming throughout this administration along with the rats who are not in power but still calling some shots they must be exposed, fired on the spot and even prosecuted in many cases, period.
Do you agree with the House Republicans that we need a 2nd Special Counsel? Of course, you do. Share your comments below.
