House Passed $1.6 Billion Package To Fund Initial Border Wall Project!

George Clooney and a host of Hollyweird liberals won’t be happy, but then again, real Americans don’t care about fantasy land, they want our border secured and our neighborhoods safe.

Question for the liberals. Do you have a fence around your property? If yes then shut up! The reason for the wall is the same reason for your fence. To keep people out. It’s your property, and you want to keep our those who would loot your belongings and those who would harm your family. What do you not understand and why the hypocrisy?

Oh yeah, and about Mexico.  They will pay for the wall the first year in the form of reduced government services monies. Years two and forward will all be profit.

But here’s the kicker! House Appropriations committee passed a bill that funded DACA illegals eligible to work for the federal government. So while a bipartisan Congress looked good on the top, they pulled the rug from under Americans with this backstabbing bill.

A House spending bill that quietly moved forward on Tuesday funds all of Trump’s initial $1.6 billion wall plan for the U.S.-Mexican border. The funding comes as part of the fiscal 2018 Department of Homeland Security appropriations bill.

The plan was released Tuesday by the House Appropriations Committee and a subcommittee moved the plan forward on Wednesday.

While the plan makes good on one of Trump’s top campaign promises in 2016, it also moves away from another pledge he made on the trail: Mexico will pay for the border wall. But Trump has more recently said the U.S. will pay first and Mexico will reimburse, or fund in other ways.

House Appropriations Homeland Security Subcommittee Chairman John Carter praised the bill.

Keeping Americans safe by protecting our homeland is a top priority. This funding bill provides the resources to begin building a wall along our southern border, enhance our existing border security infrastructure, hire more border patrol agents, and fund detention operations,” he said.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesman David Lapan said that the new money will go a long way for starting the border wall. “On the DHS side it’s clear that we’ve gotten a direction to secure the southern border, that a wall and barrier is part of that process along with people and technology and that funding from Congress is required for us to move forward on that,” he said.

In total, the bill allocates $13.8 billion to customs and border protection. That includes the $1.6 billion for the wall, $100 million to hire 500 more Border Patrol agents, $131 million for new border technology, $106 million for aircraft and sensors and $109 million for ‘non-intrusive inspection equipment,’ ” The Hill reported.

Great news, now lets’s fund a Northern wall since Canada is losing its collective mind!

If you want to come to the U.S., you must do so legally. Why is this even an issue? You can’t just enter another country without authorization and take up residence there.

No more open border. It is way past the time that this should have happened. Complete this thing so that our country is protected and only immigrants that immigrate legally and properly vetted can enter our country. Hopefully, it isn’t too late. Hopefully, those that want to do serious harm to our nation haven’t already taken advantage of our open border.

What do you think of the bill to fund the wall. There are no excuses now, and President Trump will follow through with making it happen. If the wall is not built, there will be hell to pay.
