On Tuesday, The House Judiciary Committee led by Democrats has begun another campaign of distraction by creating an investigation into how the DOJ handles police shootings.
Democrats are looking for anything that will distract from Attorney General William Barr’s new choice U.S. Attorney John Durham who has begun his investigation into who started the failed Russian investigation that set things in motion to take down and destroy President Trump’s administration.
Can we start to investigate Democrats and why they won’t enforce immigration laws? Like, did they make a secret deal with some wealthy Central Americans that in exchange for illegal campaign contributions, they’ll look the other way towards it?
In a letter to Attorney General William Barr, Chairman Jerrold Nadler and other committee Democrats requested documents and updates on how the Justice Department has addressed shootings and other cases of excessive police force since President Donald Trump took office in early 2017.
The lawmakers cited statistics, including media reports, that show nearly 1,000 people were shot and killed by police in 2018 and that at least 265 others have met with the same fate this year. The numbers include cases of unarmed shooting victims that have drawn international criticism.
“Despite continuing concerns from civil rights and community-based organizations, the department has sharply curtailed its statutory role in identifying and eradicating civil rights abuses by law enforcement,” the lawmakers’ letter said. Why don’t you ask why the criminals are shooting the cops? Cops have a tough job much more than years gone by. The problem starts in the home.
I am sure these people have districts and people in those districts whom they were voted into office to represent, and get things done for them? But no, they are to busy trying to find anything to disrupt the president and his duties. What the heck do they care about police shootings anyway?
That is something for each city or county or state to figure out, not those clowns in Congress.
