Highlights from Anti-Bullying Rally for 8-year old Aolani Dunbar; We must be active bystanders!

This past weekend, along with members of the 2M Bikers Club headed by Belinda Bee, we traveled to Carrollton, GA to hold a small support rally for a young 8-year old girl named Aolani Dunbar.

Third-grader Aolani Dunbar, 8, of Roopville, Ga., had been tormented for three years, she says, but the abuse mounted after she got the extensions in late September. One of the boys who encouraged other kids to tug at her hair received an in-school suspension, and the other has not been disciplined, Aolani’s relative said.

A group of school bullies pulled a little girl’s hair so hard that they tore off part of her scalp, her family said.

Third-grader Aolani Dunbar, 8, of Roopville, Ga., wound up in the emergency room, where the massive wound on her crown was treated like a burn, according to her family.

As for me, I have two daughters and when I heard the initial interview with Aolani, my heart felt so bad for her. Her voice sounded exactly like one of my daughters and I wish I had been there to help her out or at least be there to shake things up. I got a call asking if I would come and speak in support of Aolani and against Anti-Bullying and I didn’t hesitate to answer the call with a resounding yes.
Here is my support address to Aolani
I loved how the bikers showed up in force with smiles on their faces and love in their hearts. They came prepared and very understanding of the support Aolani needed. This truly was a great day!
I didn’t know how I was going to get there but I had to make my way. I know incidents happen everyday like this in America but this one reached my soul and I had to do something!
There are local as well as out of town speakers during the event. Pastor Steve Standridge, Matthew Landsittel-2MBTDC Georgia State Coord, Michael Miller- Ga. Asst State Coord, Belinda Bee, and Bill Looman-OathKeepers. These Patriots gave their time and traveled on their own dime to show up and be that support blanket for young Aolani and I totally was blessed with their speeches.
I was totally blessed to see Pastor Steve Standridge who also rides. Now how cool was that? A Pastor that rides a motorcycle.
