George W. Bush To Help Campaign And Raise Money For GOP Candidates

On the Wayne Dupree Show, we tell the truth even though it might not be fashionable.

We’ve been saying for a couple of months now that the House is in play, mainly because so many Republicans have left office under a Republican President, something that usually doesn’t happen.

I won’t put on my conspiracy hat right now because that’s not who I am but something is very fishy about these men and women resigning while President Trump sits in the Oval Office.

Why in the world would they pull former President George W. Bush out of the mothballs to fundraise if they didn’t think that they were in trouble? What happened to all that money they had initially?

“While he prefers to consider himself retired from politics, President Bush recognizes how important it is to keep the Senate and decided to help a few key candidates,” Freddy Ford, a Bush spokesman, said, according to Politico.

Bush will participate in a private event in Fort Worth, Texas, Wednesday for incumbent Republican Rep. Will Hurd, who is seeking his third term in the 2018 midterm elections. Hurd is running for re-election in a district that Trump lost in the 2016 presidential elections.

On Friday, the former Republican president will campaign for Gov. Rick Scott in two separate events.

He will continue campaigning for GOP candidates the rest of September and into October for Senate hopefuls Kevin Cramer of North Dakota, Josh Hawley of Missouri, Mike Braun of Indiana, and incumbent Rep. Pete Sessions of Texas.

I also find it ironic that Bush is going out on the campaign trail with these GOP candidates when he doesn’t like President Trump. You probably wondering why I made that association, and the reason is, the former president would have to highlight the work of Trump to help the candidate win.

I’m not asking anyone to believe in the polls, but I am asking people to put on their logical caps and understand progressive voters do not care about the gains President Trump has accumulated for the country.

They want to beat him any way they can. They lost he 2016 election, and they are looking for payback which is why they are showing more enthusiasm than the Republicans.
