President Trump’s approval rating, depending on the poll you following, continues to climb, no doubt based on the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation in addition to excellent economic news.
In the latest Gallup survey, the Commander-in-chief polled at 45% in April, and now he has ticked at 46% — the highest to date for Trump in Gallup polling.
As many of us have stated in the past, polls are useless this far in front of this or any election! If Gallup is consistent in how they take their poll, the only item of note is that of the trend, rising despite more than 90% negative coverage.
Here’s the breakdown of Gallup’s Poll:
- The poll, conducted from April 17-30, has a margin of error of plus or minute 4 percentage points.
- 37% of independents approve of Trump, down from 39 percent in the first half of April
- 91% of Republicans approve of the president, just short of the record high 92% he got among GOP respondents in a November Gallup survey
- 12% of Democrats said they approve of Trump’s job performance, matching the previous high among Democrats recorded in April 2017
Name one Democrat that could psychologically endure, over two years, the same backstabbing attacks, unfounded accusations, and party traitors that daily would bombard them as they have Trump?
They hate Trump because he is unique; maybe very rough around the edges in his speech and mannerisms, but unique to say the least.
I am not a worshipper of any man, but I must say that I admire the gut determination that Trump shows in standing for what he believes.
