Fox News Tops All Cable And Broadcast Networks With 9 Million Total Viewers on 3rd Day of Convention

On the concluding night of the Republican National Convention, Fox News’ coverage brought in its highest ratings with 9 million total viewers (more than its cable competitors as well as broadcast networks). It was also the network’s 3rd highest-rated 10 p.m. slot in more than 15 years. CNN and MSNBC brought in just over 4 million viewers combined.

In the demo, Fox brought in about 2.5 million versus the roughly 1.5 million for CNN and MSNBC combined. The broadcast networks ranged between 1.4 million and 1.6 million, with ABC being the highest.
