Former Dem Congressmen Jim Webb (VA) Creates Exploratory Team for 2016 Presidential Race [VIDEO]

The Democratic ex-lawmaker announced he formed an exploratory committee late Wednesday night, posting a 14-minute video and a lengthy letter to his website, webb2016.com.

By announcing his committee, the 68 year old becomes the first candidate for either major party who can raise money towards a presidential campaign. Webb has an extensive background in foreign policy issues, having served as Navy Secretary under President Ronald Reagan, and later winning a Senate seat in 2006 by using an antiwar, conservative Democratic platform to defeat the GOP incumbent George Allen.
