Ft Lauderdale Police Capture Looters; Local Law Enforcement Have A Message For Copycats!

I didn’t think they would start this early but criminals don’t take a day off, not even for a hurricane.

A gang of 8-9 individuals decided they were going to loot, no doubt thinking everyone was gone from town. They got a huge surprise when Ft Lauderdale Police showed up with handcuffs to take them to jail. If these can’t-do-right criminals were thinking this up last night before they went to bed, they didn’t use any of common sense God gave them.

The group of about 8-9 people broke through the front window and were seen walking in and then walking out with stolen items.

The group then began looting a Footlocker and CashAmerica Pawn Store in the same area.

Hours later, the Fort Lauderdale Police Department tweeted that they had caught the criminals.

“Going to prison over a pair of sneakers is a fairly bad life choice,” said Fort Lauderdale police chief Rick Maglione. “Stay home and look after your loved once and be thankful they are all safe.”

The Broward Sheriff’s Office immediately reacted to Local 10’s report, tweeting “ATTENTION LOOTERS; Every incident will be investigated. Evidence collected will be used to pursue charges after the fact.

Meanwhile, the Pembroke Pines Police Department issued a stern warning, tweeting “Any looters who come to Pembroke Pines will be greeted by our officers. Choose wisely and stay home.”

Many of the law-abiding citizens in Florida took the warning of Governor Rick Scott and removed themselves from danger. These idiots decided this was the best time to cheat people and steal from stores. You can’t buy common sense.
