FAIRNESS? Welfare Recipients Getting Assistance while Veterans Getting Shaft

During Barack Obama’s State of the Democrat’s speech last week, he presented an argument for his presidency and a second term with an address that outlined a sweeping vision for American exceptionalism sustained by an economy rooted in “fairness.”

But it seems he doesn’t use that fairness for American War Veterans and our disabled soldiers. The difference is staggering. Welfare recipients are getting their benefits inside of 30 days and some emergency assistance recipients are getting their food stamps within seven. However, there are over 600K Veteran benefit claims, while nearly 400K claims have been pending for 125 days or more. This is not fair at all but then again this is Obama’s America.
