Dr. Vanessa Tyson is a college professor, and instead of staying in the weeds, frightened to stand up for herself, she’s come out swinging with a huge stick.
Tyson accused Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax of sexual assault and submitted a lengthy statement on her allegation with disturbing details.
Before I get into that, it seems as if Fairfax is not taking the pressure too well. MSNBC reporter Kasie Hunt claims; “NBC News has learned that Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax used profane language in a private meeting Monday night while referring to his accuser, Dr. Vanessa Tyson. Two sources tell us Fairfax said of Tyson: “Fuck that b****.”

Let me turn to this the story at hand. Tyson’s public statement is something out of a book or movie you wouldn’t take your best girl to see.
“What began as consensual kissing quickly turned into a sexual assault”
A woman, more importantly, a professor, wouldn’t put her career in jeopardy releasing horrid details like this. What would she gain? There’s no huge payoff or yellow brick road. This woman seems to be hurt and she’s willing to destroy her entire professional career, if it came to that, to bring down Fairfax.
The same Democrats who spoke out against Justice Kavanaugh are now silent on Lt Gov Fairfax. 🤔

“Mr. Fairfax put his hand behind my neck and forcefully pushed my head towards his crotch. Only then did I realize that he had unbuckled his belt, unzipped his pants, and taken out his penis. He then forced his penis into my mouth.
Utterly shocked and terrified, I tried to move my head away, but could not because his hand was holding down my neck and he was much stronger than me.
As I cried and gagged, Mr. Fairfax forced me to perform oral sex on him. I cannot believe, given my obvious distress, that Mr. Fairfax thought this forced sexual act was consensual.
To be very clear, I did not want to engage in oral sex with Mr. Fairfax and I never gave any form of consent. Quite the opposite. I consciously avoided Mr. Fairfax for the remainder of the Convention and I never spoke to him again.”
Here is the full statement of Tyson:
I still can’t get over Governor Ralph Northam just about breaking into a moonwalk to support his having been in blackface as Michael Jackson, during a news conference. Not that I can figure out why that was supposed to negate the photo in his med school yearbook. It seems like it established a pattern of behavior, to me.
I just asked DNC Chairman Tom Perez to respond to the sexual assault allegations against VA Lt Gov. Justin Fairfax.
He said “We’re here to talk about tonight”
His staffers then surrounded me & he took a fake phone call. Seriously- Watch.
It’s fake. He was talking to no one. pic.twitter.com/uhXFvAbOKK

To be fair, Fairfax has denied the allegations:

If the full truth ever comes out, you will probably find that Fairfax leaked the Northam photo and Northam pushed the Fairfax accuser to come forward. Then the AG decided to get ahead of his issues to try and protect his chances of taking over the governorship. This entire story is a stain on the Virginia Democratic Party and it might take them forever to clean themselves.
