Ecuadorian Embassy Allow British Police Access To Arrest, Drag Out Julian Assange

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, an Australian native, was taken into custody on Thursday morning by British Police. There was an outstanding warrant for the journalist for the past seven years, allegedly for “failure to appear” in court.

British Police have not been able to take Assange into custody because he sought asylum and was given asylum in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London back in 2012.

There are tens of millions of Americans, perhaps far more, who appreciate the fact that WikiLeaks released the Clinton/Podesta/DNC emails. James Comey testified under oath that the hacked emails were not altered before release and that they were authentic. The Clinton campaign did cheat on the debates/forums which ended up causing CNN to fire Donna Brazile who then became acting head of the DNC.

The DNC did act to favor Hillary Clinton in the primaries, forcing Wassermann Schultz to step down as head of the DNC. The Clinton campaign did hire protesters to disrupt President Trump events hoping for injuries and arrests to use as propaganda against Trump supporters. The Clinton campaign did control the expenditures of the DNC during the 2016 campaign in return for bailing out the DNC in direct violation of campaign finance laws limiting contributions, additionally confirmed by Brazile saying she had the signed paperwork to prove it.

To this date, the media and the Democrats have been deathly silent and have made sure that all of the attention is on President Trump, but neither has addressed the insults to our election system by the Clinton campaign, none of which resemble anything remotely resembling free, fair, and open elections.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was arrested on a 7-year-old warrant early Thursday at the Embassy of Ecuador in London, and is currently being held in a police station.

“Julian Assange, 47, has today, Thursday 11 April, been arrested by officers from the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) at the Embassy of Ecuador, Hans Crescent, SW1 on a warrant issued by Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 29 June 2012, for failing to surrender to the court,” the Metropolitan police said in a statement. “He has been taken into custody at a central London police station where he will remain, before being presented before Westminster Magistrates’ Court as soon as is possible.”

The Metropolitan police had a warrant on for Assange’s arrest on behalf of Westminster Magistrates’ Court, they added, and were invited into the Ecuadorian Embassy by Ambassador Carlos Abad Ortiz after the Ecuadorian government withdrew the WikiLeaks founder’s asylum status. [Good Morning America]

Honestly, I believe Assange has done more for the citizens of the US to fight political corruption than any congressional oversight or the office of AG and the FBI in decades. He should receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

I imagine the people who want the unredacted Mueller report released will be the same people celebrating the arrest of a man who has released unredacted documents on government officials exposing government misdeeds.

If the U.S. charge Assange and WikiLeaks then they should also charge: New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, etc. They all publish classified and top secret information.

The Swedish authorities are no longer interested in pressing charges, so Assange was right all along, it’s the American authorities that were pushing for his arrest, NOT Sweden. Now America will start demanding that he be extradited to the U.S.

Assange is not an American, and he also did not have a security clearance. So, I don’t think he broke any laws. However, Edward Snowden and Bradley Manning were both entrusted with classified data and disclosed secrets. Having had a secret clearance in the Air Force, I detest those two and think they should be in prison for the rest of their lives.

Are we supposed to believe that is just coincidental that Assange was bagged the very next day after Attorney General William Barr, said to the Senate that there was spying on the Trump campaign? That put the deep state into panic mode. Wonder what they gave to Ecuador to cough up Assange?
