Is it me or is Dr King telling the black community to accept conservative values?

“I come here tonight and plead with you. Believe in yourself and believe that you’re somebody. As I said to a group last night, nobody else can do this for us! No document can do this for us. No Lincolnian Emancipation Proclamation can do this for us. No Kennesonian or Johnsonian Civil Rights Bill can do this for us. If the Negro is to be free, he must move down into the inner resources of his own soul and sign with a pen and ink of self-assertive manhood, his own Emancipation Proclamation. Don’t let anybody take your manhood.”

The powerful words of motivation and inspiration in this video of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr are rarely, if ever, quoted!

Race Hustlers that have reached their sky but help keep other blacks in bondage not speaking this message of fact

Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Tom Joyner, Michael Baisden, Rickey Smiley, Soledad O’Brien, Roland Martin, Melissa Harris Perry, Cornell West, Tavis Smiley, Steve Harvey, Russ Parr, Barack Obama…….these names are just a few that will not touch this message one bit. When was the last time you heard them speak to the black community a message like this – You won’t, because if you do, then you will remove the Democratic chain of bondage and open up freedom of spirit to be responsible for personal actions.

They blame the Republicans in Congress for the non-progress of the American Negro even though the Democrats have been promising them salvation and better conditions for 45 years. They blame the Republicans for all race relations when it is the Democratic party that raises the issues to change the subject or ignore the fact. All of these race hustlers, pimps and prostitutes that I named, are happy to get their Mr. Charley smiling faces on TV to bash another way of thinking responsible, wanting you to be a slave to the Democratic social programs that have kept minorities in Ghettos, unsafe neighborhoods, doped up on Government dependency, split families to where the Democratic Party steps in as the Mom or Father.

It’s time for the black community, and actually all minorities to stand up by their bootstraps and be accountable for their actions. It’s time that minorities begin working together to create success stories for their children and their children. We don’t live in a time where someone is supposed to give us our success…..we are supposed to work hard for it and if we don’t achieve it, we are supposed to work harder.
