Donald Trump must apologize for what he just said about Fox News Megyn Kelly

Listen, I am not a supporter of Megyn Kelly after her performance at the Fox News/GOP debates on Thursday night.

I believe she went into the debate with a purpose and that purpose was not to find out his positions on things that matter to the American people, that seemed far from her train of thought. Kelly was focused on embarrassing GOP front-runner Donald Trump by any means necessary. Whether it was to go back to his Democrat days and pull out information that was irrelevant or read from his twitter timeline, things, she was focused.

But she’s a big girl, and she can take in what she gives out, so I am not worried about her in that sense.

Trump said Friday night that Kelly “had blood coming out of her eyes” when she aggressively questioned him during Thursday’s presidential debate.

“She gets out and she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions,” Trump said in a CNN interview. “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever. In my opinion, she was off base.”

I like Trump. I like his passion and the way he goes about handling the media and the establishment parties on both sides. When I hear him speak he reminds me of those of us who fight liberals every day not holding anything back and leaving it all on the field.

However much you support Trump he was wrong this time. I am man enough and informed enough to say as a man, that was wrong to say and he needs to apologize and move on. Trump doesn’t have to break bread with Kelly or buy her favorite type of shoes to make up for this blunder, but this needs to fixed immediately or he stands to lose so much.

All Trump had to say was that he passionately fights for what he feels is right and his passion shows with strong language. By attacking Megyn, he risks proving her point. It seems he has proved her point by upping the attacks on her.

I was reading a bulletin board, and I came across this entry:

Holy crap. Trump’s campaign is over. And justifiably so. “Blood coming out of her whatever….” He pretty much just alienated himself from half of the nation’s population.

Kelly asked Trump questions that were critical of some awful things he said about women. But let’s remember, Trump has said very bad things about men. This should prove Trump is not sexist, and he treats the sexes equally. He will insult a woman the same way he will insult a man. He will insult people equally without regard to their gender. I think that he deserves our vote if just for that!

These debates have become classless not because of how the candidates answer the questions but because the debate moderators come with pet peeves about the candidates. Megan Kelly was completely out of line. There are far more important things the country needs help in resolving than what goes on in personal fights between celebrities. The Donald may have said things that are offensive to Rosie O’Donald or a few other women. But most of those women and men have bad mouthed the Donald first. The moderators of these debates should ask questions that are more relevant to how this country needs to be run rather than who said what to whom in the past.

….but that doesn’t allow him to make a remark like that to even her. Apologize now and move on or watch what you have built crumble like the days of old.

Mr. Trump, if you don’t think of yourself, your campaign, think of you supporters.
