DID YOU MISS THIS? Obama Says So! Admin will extend “LAW Registration” without it going through Congress

The Obama Administration said this past Monday, it will extend the deadline for applying for Obamacare coverage to March 31, 2014, six weeks after the original cut off date. The extension allows for the avoidance of tax penalties associated with not signing up for health coverage before the deadline. The original deadline was in mid-February, so that coverage would be in place by March.

The announcement comes as no surprise given the fact that glitches and technical issues have plagued the Affordable Care Act roll out since Healthcare.gov launched on Oct. 1, the Associated Press reports. White House spokesman Jay Carney has said previously the administration was working to fix the issues.

Why does this president get to change laws when he wants to and the Congress sits by quiet and confused?

Here is my question. If this is a law………why didn’t this go through Congress first? Shouldn’t Congress have created this extension? Is this more of King Obama changing the law to fit his needs?
