It seems that Congress has turned our immigration system into a joke and rendered American citizenship relatively meaningless.
Sen. Diane Feinstein along with a few of her Senate Democrats believe that 440,000 foreign nationals have “earned the right” to stay in the United States “permanently,” thus giving them amnesty.
Last week, House Democrats passed an amnesty bill, H.R. 6, which seems to give illegal aliens that have been in the United States over some time — amnesty. This bill gives amnesty to all illegal aliens that arrived in the United States as a child. House Dems want the Senate to do the same.
Feinstein along with fellow Senators Chris Van Hollen, Ben Cardin, and Tim Kaine is urging the GOP-controlled Senate to pass their amnesty plan. Cardin believes Americans are obligated to give illegal aliens not only legal residency but citizenship via amnesty.
Cardin: “These individuals have lawfully lived and worked in the U.S. as our neighbors, as they sought refuge in the U.S. We have an obligation to take action and give needed predictability and safety to people who are in an uncertain status. We need to stand up for the American values of compassion and diversitythat have made this country stronger.”
Feinstein: “The Senate needs to follow the House’s lead and pass these important protections for immigrant families who have been living and working in the United States for decades,” Feinstein said. “After fleeing wars and natural disasters, these families have established deep roots in our communities and earned the right to remain together here in the United States.”
Our obligation is to our people and our laws. And I know that this will come as a bombshell to the little communist Democrat brains, but we have laws about who can enter this nation, as to all other countries, and those of us who work cannot pay for all that you communists promise.
Americans must protect their Constitution, culture, and traditions; there is no obligation to accept any immigrants unless they choose to, and believe they will be an asset to the country. Every foreigner who is identified as being in the country illegally should be summarily deported, and never allowed to return.
Applications for asylum or any other status that could allow foreigners to remain in the country should only be accepted from those legally in the country or applying through an embassy, or consulate outside the country. Immigration should be limited to numbers small enough that there is no ghetto or a support system of their former countrymen that they can live in without becoming Americanized.
They should be few enough that they must learn English, and make themselves fit into American culture to survive.
We do not owe ANYONE AMNESTY! Their first action was to disrespect our nation and break our laws by crossing our border without our permission! Then violate our labor laws by working here either under the table or using a stolen social security number! They are criminals from the beginning! Deport them all! And that does not even get into all the violent crime they commit against us citizens!
