Rep. Katie Hill was pressed by her CNN interviewer whether or not she would vote for border wall funds and her response will be welcomed to Pres. Trump.
CNN Host Poppy Harlow tried to force an answer out of Hill regarding support Trump’s efforts to fund the wall between U.S.-Mexico.
Hill, who comes from a family of conservatives in California and whose constituency is more along the lines of “America First, MAGA,” makes this decision because she didn’t forget where she came from.
Freshman Rep. Katie Hill (D-CA) told CNN on Friday she will vote for some funding to go towards barriers on the U.S.-Mexico border.
“I just want a really straight answer here: will you vote for any money for a steel barrier,” CNN’s Poppy Harlow asked.
“I mean, I will definitely, I don’t know if it’s steel, I will vote for some money for physical barriers,” Hill replied.
Hill’s position is in stark contrast to the rest of the Democratic party, who are refusing President Donald Trump’s demands to have the next government spending bill to include money to go towards a wall or more barriers along the southern border.
Pelosi and Schumer have been crying about government workers not being paid and suffering the same kinds of problems the rest of country deals with every time a Democrat is in the WH, but they never say anything about the people who have died at the hands of people who have no right to be here.
Democrats have enticed to be here and protected and even released into the public to offend again when they’re here so blame them for much of this shutdown; it’s on them.
