First off, let me say that Terry McAuliffe has no business experience at all. He’s a lawyer who learned he could get rich raising money for corrupt politicians. McAuliffe has about as much private sector job experience as the previous Baskin-Robbins counter clerk, “President” B. Hussein Obozo.
So McAuliffe, the democrat, thinks because his record as a businessman that created jobs should qualify him to become governor? Funny, but I recall Romney, a businessman and former Governor, and his supporters felt the same way in the last presidential race but the democrats said that didn’t matter he wasn’t qualified like Obama was, who gave us 4 disastrous years, actually doesn’t know the first thing about economics. And the fawning media, the dopey democrats, the black population and the low-information voters got Obama elected again – and look how that’s going for us!
This week, National Journal questioned the campaign about a claim McAuliffe made during his 2009 run for Governor. During a Democrat debate, McAuliffe boasted that he “created over 100,000 jobs—good-paying jobs with benefits and good wages. That’s what I’ll do as governor.”
One of his Democrat opponents, Del. Brian Moran, scoffed that this would make McAuliffe a bigger job creator than Bill Gates. McAuliffe went on to finish third in that primary contest.
According to National Journal, McAuliffe hasn’t repeated that claim on the trail this year. He is still, however, touting his record as a job creator. Until recently, he promoted his chairmanship of Green Tech, an electric car manufacturer, boasting that the company would create 900 well-paying jobs.
The only jobs he can really claim are political paybacks and new Govt programs and grants for political payoffs. These guys get rich on our money as their supporters get poorer that’s the American way.
