CPAC 2016: Greatest National Threat Facing America

KT McFarland, National Security Analyst and Fox News contributor, moderated a panel of experts asking the question: ‘What is the greatest national security threat facing our nation?’

While the answers to the question posed varied, Global Warming was not among them.

Deneen Borelli, of Conservative Review, believes PC and RC are among the biggest threats to our nation. ‘Political Correctness kills,’ said Borelli, just look at San Bernadino, where neighbors were afraid to report suspicious behavior, lest they are labeled racist. Borelli went on to state playing the Race Card endangers our nation as well, dividing our country. Borelli used the words of Abraham Lincoln, reminding us

America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.

Congressman Ryan Zinke (MT), ever the optimist, is hopeful for America’s future. While our country has suffered greatly from the leadership (or lack thereof) of Barack Obama, he believes the next president will inherit three things that give him hope: The most powerful military in the world, a nation with energy potential superior to any other country, and the American people. Congressman Zinke believes if the right leader is elected, America’s potential is unlimited.

I know many are concerned, and rightfully so, about the state of our great nation. I humbly suggest those who are afraid have forgotten one thing. Our founders gave you the power to right the course of our nation, and with great power comes great responsibility. You are responsible to support your candidate, to vote and finally to coalesce around GOP nominee because the alternative is too great a chance to take.

As the session ended, KT McFarland concluded with this, Jimmy Carter ushered in Ronald Reagan, and that #WeThePeople have the opportunity to elect our generation’s Reagan. Choose wisely.
