CPAC 2014 Makes Waves; Invites Governor Chris Christie to Speak

To the Surprise of many, Governor Chris Christie has been invited to speak at CPAC 2014 and has accepted. Governor Christie had been shut out of last year’s convention and that was met with a lot of angry attendees. Well this year, he’s there and some are happy and some are confused. Which are you? Here is Official Statement from Al Cardenas, Chairman of the ACU.

“We are very excited to announce that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will speak at CPAC 2014. At this year’s CPAC – and through our theme ‘ACU’s Golden Anniversary: Getting It Right for 50 Years’ – we will celebrate how conservatism has shaped our past and look to the future with excitement. There will be more than 200 thought leaders and personalities from government, politics and entertainment in what will be our best CPAC ever. This will be the year that conservatives begin pulling the nation back from the brink of Barack Obama’s disaster with a movement that inspires, unites, and discovers new solutions to our current challenges.
