Cut The Cord: ‘Cable Welfare’ is the Only Reason CNN is Still on The Air

The latest ratings are in, and like clockwork, CNN is falling down an endless blackhole of ratings despair.

Far-left MSNBC and CNN lost nearly a third of their respective primetime audiences when compared to this same week last year, reports TVNewser. My guess is that at least half of CNN’s regular viewers are Republicans who enjoy all the hate-watching. [Breitbart]

Month after month, week after week, we hear how bad the ratings are over at CNN, yet everyday when we turn on the TV they’re still there.

Wild Exchange: [VIDEO] One of the Wildest Exchanges Ever, ‘You Wanna go toe to toe? I’m Here!’

Like a bad penny, CNN keeps turning up.

Many people think it’s because CNN is broadcast in every airport across the country.

Sure, that helps with advertising numbers, but that’s not how CNN is able to stay on the air.

The reason they survive week after week is because of a little something called “cable welfare.”

Think about this fact:

90 million pay money to CNN while fewer than 1 million watch.

Yes, according to CNN they’re available in 90 million households, while only 1 million or so Americans watch the fake news channel.

So, how does that math work out?

Cable welfare.

Changing The Country: While Dems Go Bonkers Trump is Quietly Reshaping The Judiciary. 150th Judge Was Just Confirmed

The game is rigged, folks. And it is especially rigged against those normal Americans who on a daily basis are bullied, taunted, discriminated against, demonized, threatened, and menaced by CNN.

You see, it works like this…

Even if you don’t watch CNN, you are still forced to pay for CNN.

It is called a carriage fee, and every month you subsidize this hate network to the tune of about $1.00 a month, or around $12.00 a year.

That means the welfare queens at CNN snatch about $90 million a month just because the game is rigged to force you to pay for a propaganda outlet that encourages and legitimizes violence, a hate network that runs one blacklisting campaign after another to de-platform conservatives or anyone who challenges that establishment.

This means the welfare queens at CNN are bringing in over a billion — that’s “billion” with a “B” — dollars a year just because the game is rigged to force you to pay for a far-left mouthpiece for the Democrat Party that openly calls for riots, demonizes children who dare to support Trump, engages in rape fantasies of Trump supporters, and deliberately spreads wild-eyed conspiracy theories. [Breitbart]

You don’t realize it, but just by having cable or satellite TV service, you are paying the salaries of the anti-Trump lunatics at CNN.

You are keeping CNN on the air.

You are funding fake news.

How in the world is CNN — national laughingstock in the credibility and ratings arena — able to run away with something like a billion dollars a year from Americans who do not watch CNN, Americans who boycott CNN, and American who despise CNN for its bigotry and love of violence?

It’s your cable TV bill, bro.

Or, if you prefer … It’s your satellite TV bill, bro.

You see, if CNN is part of the cable package you subscribe to, you are in turn forced to subsidize the welfare queens at CNN.

Doesn’t matter if you watch CNN.  That is not how TV works anymore. Ratings and merit have nothing to do with how much money a cable network makes. If CNN is available to you, you are forced to pay for it.

Why do you think your cable bill is so high?

Why do you think you are not allowed to pay only for the cable channels you watch?

If CNN was forced to live on ratings/merit alone, it could not survive at the level it does. CNN’s primetime lineup is in 14th place and only attracts an average of 876,000 viewers, so advertising revenue alone could not sustain the network, at least not at the level it enjoys with that billion dollars in free money coming from suckers like you. [Breitbart]

Without the billion dollars a year that CNN rakes in from cable welfare, they wouldn’t be able to stay on the air.

So, the big question is – what can you do to make a difference?

Well, for starters, you can cut the cord and end your cable TV contract.

What Sad Story: What Happened to Julian Assange?

The number of households who cut their cable or satellite television packages doubled in 2018 to nearly three million, despite the so-called experts predicting the exact opposite.
Breitbart News was the first to cover this phenomenon as a game changer going back more than six years. We are also the outlet that told you the experts were blowing smoke, wishcasting, attempting to stabilize their stock prices with the absurd prediction that cord cutting had already peaked and would begin to taper off.

Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope — sorry, Welfare Queen Cable Networks, cord cutting is real and it’s fabulous. [Breitbart]

If you’re not paying that monthly “carriage fee,” you’re not paying CNN’s salary – it’s that simple.

Personally, I cut the cable cord about 6 months ago, and I have never looked back.

My monthly costs are lower, and I no longer contribute to the thing I hate most – fake news.

What is cord cutting?

Cord cutting is shorthand for what happens when someone cancels their cable or satellite (DirecTV) pay television package.

Why do people cut the cord?

Cost is a huge factor. The average monthly cable bill is currently somewhere around $100 a month. Streaming options like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu are much cheaper. Also, with a Roku player, you have access to a ton of free movies and TV series. These titles are usually older, and while they do contain a few commercial interruptions, it is nothing close to the 20 minutes of ads per hour you are assaulted with on cable TV.

What’s more, a lot of people are going back to the roof antenna. You would be shocked at how many free channels are available to you over the airwaves.

What do people do for TV after they cut the cord?

There are plenty of TV options after you dump your obnoxiously priced cable or satellite TV package. See above.

Why is cutting the cord good for America?

Cable TV is artificially propping up a slew of far-left TV networks that could not survive without it, which is why I call them Welfare Queen Cable Networks. CNN is an excellent example. If CNN had to survive on advertising alone, because of its laughably low ratings, the propaganda network would either collapse entirely or be forced to operate at a much reduced level. The same is true of MSNBC, MTV, and a host of others.

The more people who cancel their cable or satellite packages, the less money those left-wing networks make. [Breitbart]
