Karma Pays a Visit to Anti-Trump Celeb Chrissy Teigen Who Had a Very Bad Day on Twitter That Ended in 3 Groveling Apologies

Karma paid a visit to one of the most deserving “celebrity” brats around.

Former model and rabid Trump-hater Chrissy Teigen had a very bad day on Twitter.

It was so bad, as a matter of fact, that she ended up having to issue not one, not two, but three of the most pathetic, groveling apologies you’ll ever see.

It all started when Chrissy tweeted out a story involving her mom and air pods.

According to the tweet, Chrissy’s mom treats air pods like they’re “disposable” throwing them away and buying about 3 pairs a month. At $159 bucks a pop that’s a hell of a lot of money to be “throwing away” a month. Nearly $500 bucks, according to Teigen’s tweet.

Here’s what she said: my mom treats her air pods like they’re disposable. buys a few a month. she says they would be easier to not lose if they had….a cord

Well, Chrissy’s fans base did not think the tweet was funny. As a matter of fact, they were fuming mad and they lashed out at her, accusing her of being “tone-deaf” and “privileged.”

“Amazing that you felt not at all bad tweeting this.”

“that has horrifying implications for the environment if this is how rich people treat electronics”

“been working since i was 18. i went back to my most prosperous year (2014) $7,573.01. rounding down (($149 • 3) x 12), your mom spends about 70% of my most prosperous yrs earnings on air pods. gross.”

“last week i met a homeless woman whos dad was so sick he killed himself to escape the pain that very day. watched her give his sneakers to someone else homeless. for that experience to coexist with THIS experience is sickening. It is a sin to live like you people do.”

“I have dental work that will never be fixed and work 10-12 hrs a day, no $ if I’m sick, maybe 2 days off a month. I’m worried I and my daughter might end up homeless. Good job for your mom throwing away a months worth of food.”

“I got $150 in my account till next Friday and your mom buys multiple $100 earphones a month damn the wealth inequality in this country is astounding and the elite are content to ignore it until we get out the pitchforks. I think it’s getting close to angry mob time.”

“It’s super cool that I’m stressed about bills because of a surgery I needed and the work I’m missing just to get online & see a celebrity laughing about their unemployed mom casually dropping thousands of dollars on tech she doesn’t need and might use once or twice before losing”

“Take the temperature of the room, sweetie. I just spent $1200 on dental work, and I had to ask every single member of my family to chip in for that. That was as much fun as diposable airpods, for sure. So is the fact that I still have to beg just under $1000 to finsh the job!”

These types of replies went on and on and on. Seriously, it was endless.

Apparently Chrissy had been away from her Twitter because when she popped back on she was shocked to see that she had offended so many people.

She started off her “phase one apology” by calling her earlier tweet “icky.” She said: Oh man I haven’t checked my mentions for a bit and I didn’t realize how many people were super pissed off about this. It was meant as a joke (and exaggeration) about how my mom doesn’t realize air pods are with a cord are headphones but it came across as super tone deaf and icky.

However, bad news for Chrissy, “apology #1” didn’t cut the mustard. It wasn’t “graveling” enough for the mob.
“I doubt this was an exaggeration. You’re becoming more and more unrelateable. And a lot less funny.”

“Redistribute your wealth”

So, Chrissy teed up apology #2. This one was much sappier and pathetic.

She said: I promise I will not always say the right thing in the right way but I also promise I hate disappointing or pissing you guys off. I’m sorry and I will do better to not be such an asshole.

But sadly for Chrissy, that groveling mess of an apology still didn’t do the trick.

“The only thing i will say, and I ain’t trying to shame, is that I recently listened to a teacher tell a story about poverty level high schoolers cutting cords off of corded Apple headphones to look like they were wearing Air Pods. Broke my heart.”

“It’s not about how you said it. It’s the fact that some people are starving while others can treat $150 airpods as disposable. I love you Chrissy but seriously, stop pretending this is about tone and start campaigning for wealth redistribution.”

Groveling apology #3 incoming…

She said: You keep saying this as if my husband and I don’t do anything for society and it’s really disheartening. It was a comment, a joke, a dumb one at that, that I’m sorry for. I hope we have done and continue to do things that contribute more than a dumb tweet. Again, I apologize.

Ha ha ha, man, it’s so fun to watch them eat their own, isn’t it?
