Chicago Police Respond To R. Kelly Suicide Pact Threat At Trump Towers

Whoever set this up as a joke needs to be arrested and put in jail.

An anonymous caller alerted the Chicago police that there could be a suicide pact at the home of R&B singer R. Kelly.  Kelly was just released from jail after a fan page is $161,000 child support payment ordered by the court.

Kelly was back in court on Wednesday regarding his child support, in which his wife attended. The anonymous tipper does not realize the strain that it put on law enforcement just to check out this bogus claim.

Kelly’s girlfriends Azriel Clary and Jocelyn Savage have come to his defense against current claims and allegations of underage sexual assault and cult-like abuse.

Chicago Police rushed to R. Kelly‘s Trump Tower condo Tuesday evening in fear that his girlfriends were attempting to carry out a “suicide pact.” It later proved to be a false alarm.

In a police radio call shared online, a dispatcher, who received an anonymous call, can be heard telling officers that Kelly’s girlfriend Azriel Clary and “four other women, who are victims of R. Kelly are planning to carry out a suicide pact at one of the condos at Trump Tower.”

The anonymous caller, however, did not specify when the alleged suicide would take place or give a specific unit number.

Emergency responders arrived on the 400 block of North Wabash just before 5:30 p.m., the Chicago Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE in a statement. [excerpt via Yahoo Lifestyle]

Well, I’m glad that it was apparently a false alarm. Regardless, I’m hoping that those young women get the outside professional help that they so desperately need if they’re in an abusive relationship. For anyone who is in an abusive relationship, the National Domestic Violence Hotline site has a toll-free 24/7 helpline and related resources. Please keep reaching out for help until getting the proper treatment and support.

Enough with this drama. People making these calls need to be found, arrested, and charged. This is getting ridiculous. The young women are adults and Kelly will have his day in court. Not sure why this is becoming urgent, he has lived with these for a long time.

How about the media wait until he’s actually found guilty before the lynching begins. No I’m not a fan and yes I think he’s probably guilty, but I still think the man is entitled to a fair trial before he is judged.

The best way to protect your daughters from a guy like Kelly is to raise them to be thinking, independent human beings with proper self-regard, and serious goals of their own, instead of clingy dependents who will do ANYTHING to have a man, and who are so wowed by someone’s celebrity status that they’ll abuse themselves to be close to him.
