On Wednesday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection Chief (CBP) Operating Officer John P. Sanders delivered shocking news to the U.S. media regarding the status of illegal border crossings from Mexico into the United States.
According to their reported numbers, Border Patrol agents and CBP officers arrested 144,278 border crossers just in May, alone. Breaking that down, 100,000-plus were family units and unaccompanied minors. Sanders made the critical distinction that this was a 44% increase from April 2019.
While this is happening, Dems are cheering them as good news and dancing. No wonder that is upsetting Pres. Trump and hard working citizens, who see there wages not going up. Cheaper labor force from Mexico is preventing it from happening.
The purpose of our Federal Government, as found in the Preamble of the Constitution, is to “establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity.”
Is it justice to allow foreign nationals to break US laws? How does illegal immigration insure domestic tranquility or promote the general welfare? Is not the primary purpose of the US government to look out for its citizens above all others?

Sanders told reporters on a Wednesday afternoon conference call that Border Patrol agents and CBP officers apprehended 144,278 migrants in May. Over 100,000 of those taken into custody were unaccompanied minors and family units. This represents a 44 percent increase over the April’sapprehensions of families and minors, Sanders said.
U.S. Border Patrol Chief of Law Enforcement Operations Brian Hastings said that Border Patrol agents apprehended more than 132,000 migrants who illegally crossed the border between ports of entry. Of those, Hastings said more than 84,000 were family units, more than 11,000 were unaccompanied minors and more than 36,000 were single adults. He said agents apprehended an average of 4,286 per day in May.
“The numbers for May prove the crisis is only getting worse,” Hastings stated. “As of today, the Border Patrol has apprehended, as of this morning, more than 610,000 subjects on the southwest border alone. That’s exceeding the last decade of fiscal year totals… and there’s still four months remaining in this fiscal year.” [Breitbart]
A deed or rental agreement gives a person the right to have a person who is illegally present to be removed from their residence by law enforcement.
The Constitution gives the three branches of government the right to develop immigration laws to have foreign citizens without legal status to be removed from the US by ICE. Why does this seem to be so difficult for illegal alien apologists to understand?
In 2012, border officials recorded just 8,147 illegal immigrants asking for asylum. That grew to 28,793 in 2014, and through the first ten months of 2016, it had reached a staggering 46,628, according to the statistics provided to the Immigration Reform Law Institute.
In 2010, less than 1 percent of those at the border were requesting asylum from the agents or officers who captured them. Now it’s 9 percent.
Mark Morgan, Border Patrol Chief – The migrants are being coached by friends and family or smugglers, who collect thousands of dollars per person for their efforts, on the “magic words” to say to get put on the asylum track, border officials say. “We know that they’re coaching individuals on specifically what to say when they come here, that they just rattle off and they memorize the magic words that they need to say so that they’ll fall within the statute of credible fear,”
According to illegal alien apologist logic, it’s OK to perpetuate a serf-like underclass of people as long as Americans can have cheap food and services.
Why is it okay to look the other way and allow the exploitation of illegals simply for low-cost labor under the weak argument of “who would cut the grass, landscape, pick the crops, watch the kids,” etc.? Attempts to deport “illegal” aliens back to their home country are considered by some people to be un-American, breaking up families and an injustice. But this sly support for illegal immigration does not discourage ending the exploitation of people getting paid less than a fair wage with few benefits?
You can’t have it both ways. Either sending “illegal” aliens home is an injustice, or letting them stay to be exploited by unscrupulous businesses owners is an injustice. Which is it?
What do stopping IEDs and illegal immigrants have in common? The answer is simple: If you try to fight IEDs with detection and disarming and fight immigration with catching and arresting, then you’ve lost the battle. You need, in the parlance of the counter-IED community, to “go to the left of boom,” i.e., prevent the IED from ever being built or planted, let alone discovered.
Blurring “illegal” aliens with legal immigrants by referring to them as “undocumented” migrants or “undocumented” immigrants is both intellectually dishonest and a slap in the face to legal immigrants.
Why not add these words to the Progressive dictionary:
- Squatters of vacant apartment buildings – “unleased/undocumented” tenants
- Shoplifters – “unreceipted” customers
- Trespassers – “unverified” friends or family members
