Megyn Kelly Returns To Fox News And Brings 4 Million Viewers During Interview

Megyn Kelly’s exclusive interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s ended up being a massive rating boom for the network.

Carlson featured Kelly on a few segments on Wednesday night and that alone grabbed a stunning 4.06 million total viewers. It was Kelly’s first television appearance since she left Fox News for NBC. Those numbers eclipsed the network’s titan Sean Hannity who drew an impressive 3.653 million viewers as the after-show to Tucker’s rating bonanza.

MSNBC’s Maddow’s program on MSNBC Wednesday night came in a respectable third place with 3.44 million viewers overall, while MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, whose show All In with Chris Hayes airs the same time as Tucker Carlson Tonight, drew 2.243 million viewers.

I won’t get into what CNN did because it really doesn’t matter at this point.

Kelly, during the interview, blasted her former employer, NBC for how they handled the sexual misconduct allegation against former host Matt Lauer. She also said that the network needs to open an outside investigation to get to the truth. She used Fox News as an example, who used an outside fair investigator to come to the story that we now know brought Fox News down a peg or two.

She ended up defending Trump’s antagonist network CNN, and their coverage of the impeachment inquiry into the Commander-in-chief.
