VIDEO: Beyonce, Jay-Z Sit Down At Superbowl During The National Anthem

Here’s the deal.

Multiple Grammy award winner Beyonce who sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl a few years ago and a couple of back to back halftime shows sat down with her husband, Jay-Z during the 2020 Superbowl.

So if Beyonce sings the National Anthem again will she be sitting down while she sings?

Demi Lovato, who has gone through personal tragedies was chosen to sing the Superbowl national anthem and is a testament to her comeback, but hearing how these major superstars sat down while she was singing is a huge disrespect.

I understand they are trying to make a statement, but it’s not right to disrespect our country like that. We should be grateful for all of the opportunities we have here and respect our country, regardless of our political views.

The rapper and music mogul’s Roc Nation agreed a deal last August in which it will help select artists for major NFL performances such as at the Super Bowl and play a role in the NFL’s Inspire Change initiative.

This year’s super Bowl halftime performers Jennifer Lopez and Shakira are both clients of Roc Nation.

For those supporting Colin Kaepernick, Jay-Z’s deal raised eyebrows with some seeing it as a betrayal of Kaepernick’s Black Lives Matter protest.

In 2016, the football pro started kneeling during the national anthem to call attention to racial injustice and police brutality.

The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback has not played in the NFL since becoming a free agent in 2017 and has argued he’s been effectively exiled from the league.

Some  Twitter users certainly seemed to think that Beyonce and Jay-Z were making a statement by not standing and saw it as a gesture of support. [Daily Mail]

Regardless of who you are, if you can’t show respect for the National Anthem and you’re so disgusted with the country move on down the road folks.

The rest of us are happy, so don’t rain on our parade. You all look like fools doing stuff like this and you really aren’t getting any message across other than your ignorance.
