At this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference, Chairman Matt Schlapp of the American Conservative Union confirms on Monday that President Trump will be speaking.
It will take place at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland from February 22 to February 25.
Chairman Schlapp posted a tweet about the announcement.
“We are honored that @POTUS will return to #CPAC2017 on Friday, Feb 24th at 10:00 A.M. (ET). Join us for this history-making moment @CPAC.”

It isn’t too often when both the president and vice president are speaking at the same conference.
Although this would be his first time as president, Trump has also spoken at CPAC several years in the past.
So far, over 100 speakers are set to speak. Below are some of the notables:
-VP Mike Pence
-Senator Ted Cruz
-Governor Scott Walker
-Sheriff David Clarke Jr.
-Judge Jeanine Pirro
The conference also comes with some controversy, when Milo was kicked off as a speaker due to a lot backlash. Since then, there has been much debate on social media over his situation.
It will be a jam-packed conference with many great speakers. With Trump attending, the only concern is if there will be protesters attempting to get in or near the perimeter of the building.
Unfortunately, I will not be attending this year’s CPAC, but had the privilege to go in 2012 when it was in Chicago.
I hope everyone attending has a great time. We’ll see what Trump has to say at this historic event.
