BEHNA: Dem Congressman Ted Lieu Wants No Hearings “Until Next Election” For Judge Gorsuch

Congressman Ted Lieu of California is one of many other Democrats sounding a bit sour over Judge Neil Gorsuch, Donald Trump’s nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court.

On his Twitter account Tuesday night, Lieu claims there shouldn’t be any hearings “until next election” because he isn’t happy Barack Obama’s nominee Merrick Garland got blocked.

Since he is a Congressman, he won’t even have a vote on Gorsuch anyway since that would be up to the U.S. Senate.

And Lieu thinks Democrats will be able to block him for another four years? That definitely isn’t happening. Gorsuch is going to most likely be confirmed.
