On Tuesday, conservative and gun rights activist Dana Loesch has been named a national spokesperson for the National Rifle Association (NRA) by CEO Wayne LaPierre.

In a press release from the NRA Blog, she will be a Special Assistant to LaPierre’s office for Public Communication. He explained how much praise he has for her.
“During the past year Dana has proven herself to be a powerful voice for the Second Amendment rights of all Americans,” LaPierre said. “It is clear that Dana has the communication skills, experience, and natural ability to serve our organization well as one its very public faces in the news media.”
“I’ve been impressed with Dana’s command of the issues facing the NRA, as well as her ability to communicate our positions and connect with women, and men, on those issues,” LaPierre said.
Previously, she served as Special Advisor on Women’s Policy Issues.
Loesch is also an author and talk radio host on TheBlaze. She is a frequent guest on news outlets such as Fox News and CNN.
It is also fun knowing this will make anti-gun liberals throw a tantrum. Groups such as Moms Demand Action and Everytown for Gun Safety hate the 2nd Amendment and would abolish it if they could.
Fortunately, we have the NRA and advocates like Dana Loesch who will continue to fight for our right to bear arms. I’m so proud of her and congratulate her on the new role. She will be great!
