Democrats Want Acting Attorney General To Recuse Himself Like Former AG Sessions!

Believe it or not, Sen. Chuck Schumer is even less significant today than he was yesterday.

What are you afraid of?

Sen. Chuck Schumer and the Democrats want the new acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker to recuse himself from anything Russia, just like former Attorney General Jeff Sessions. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but whoever holds the Senate and the judiciary will set policy for the next two years.

Schumer should recuse himself from the Senate. Rational people would not miss him. Liberalism is a mental disease.

Everyone that Pres. Trump nominates, this will be the refrain because if they don’t, it takes Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who is highly compromised out of the process. Sorry, Sen. Schumer, not this time, I bet the house the recusal question will be asked point blank by Trump before any nomination and if they say they might do so, that will be a red flag.

Old man Schumer first drew my attention when in the House of Representatives, he very aggressively sought to justify the Janet Reno Justice Department, for the actions that led to burning scores of women and children alive at Waco.

Whitaker should put Schumer on notice that the Senator is not above being investigated, himself, for why he is so keen for misuse of Justice Department personnel, to harass the President. His obsessions hardly demonstrate statesmanship!

Top Democrats, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and the ranking members on the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees, sounded the alarm after Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ abrupt resignation on Wednesday, and demanded that Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker recuse himself from overseeing the inquiry into Russian meddling in the 2016 elections.

“This is a break-the-glass moment,” Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., said in a statement.

The president tweeted that Whitaker, a former U.S. attorney who currently serves as chief of staff to Sessions, will become the acting attorney general, with a permanent replacement to be announced. Trump decided not to elevate Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who has been grilled by congressional Republicans — including some who attempted to impeach him — for his handling of federal investigations related to Trump’s team.

In his new capacity, Whitaker is the head official at the Justice Department, and at least for now, oversees the Mueller probe and the agency’s other federal investigations, including the New York prosecutors’ look into the finances of Trump and his former aides. The DOJ is an Executive Branch department staffed by both career officials, who are shielded from arbitrary termination, and political appointees like Sessions and Whitaker who serve at the president’s pleasure.

Democrats are in a panic mode. They know the games are over. They’ve lied to their voters about the impeachment of Trump, VP Pence, and Justice Kavanaugh.

I love this. Democrats think they can outplay Trump with smear and obstruction. Oh, how they underestimate him. He plays this game 100 times better than anyone. And he’s not angry yet. If they want a truce, he’ll take it any day. If they want war, he’ll beat them in 100 ways.
