Over 125 Border Crossing Mothers Sue Trump Administration Over Asylum Ban

Over 125 border crossing families, including children, are suing the United States government, specifically the Trump administration.

These illegal migrants claim that the Trump administration violated their rights as asylum-seekers through the arbitrary and capricious implementation of a virtual asylum ban at the southern border.

The lawsuit was filed in Washington D.C., District Court on Monday. This is the first retaliation since the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Trump’s ban on asylum-seekers to slow down the run on the U.S. Southern Border and allow officials to vet those coming here on those grounds.

Unlike other suits that have targeted the asylum rule itself, the latest filing challenges the Trump administration on procedural grounds, saying the government has enacted changes without warning, resulting in elevated rejection rates for asylum-seekers.

With the administration rolling out a series of anti-immigration regulations in rapid succession, asylum-seekers are not being told which of the shifting standards will apply to their cases, said Hassan Ahmad, the lead attorney on the lawsuit.

“What we’re challenging is the haphazard lack of legal procedure. There’s no rhyme or reason to it,” Ahmad said.

The plaintiffs are 126 women and children from 59 families, mostly from the impoverished and violent Central American countries of El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, who were rejected in the early stages of the asylum process while staying at the South Texas Family Residential Center in Dilley, Texas. The suit was filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.

Just how do they think they can sue federal laws on immigration that have been in effect years before Trump became President. Pres. Trump is only obeying the Federal Law, and these women are not eligible for asylum in the U.S. since they did not seek asylum in the first country they migrated into.

As stated in the 11th amendment; The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State.

Why We Voted For Trump! Fed Up Migrants Lose Hope And Give Up On Asylum At Border

I don’t believe these illegal migrants sued anyone. Bloated “civil rights groups” lawyers who stand to gain money by “taxing” American citizens sued.

Should we not sue these illegal migrants for lying to the USA about their asylum claims if they are false. Should we not throw them in jail and then deport? These are just the type of people we would not want. They would sue for every little thing.

I would assume most of the “asylum” seekers are uneducated in the US law. Therefore, US attorney’s are preaching the law to these people to file a lawsuit. Or it could be these so-called lawyers are having them sign without explaining to these people what could happen so that they prove a point. If I’m right, I think the Supreme Court already ruled on this matter!
