Another Instance of Stolen Valor; This Needs To Stop!

The man denied he was committing an act of stolen valor, saying the uniform belonged to his stepson and he wore it because he had no other clean clothes.

My message to this guy is this! When you have earned the right to wear those uniforms, then you’ll have the ability to make an informed opinion. To those of us who have worn it, or still do, seeing people do this is nothing less than a slap in the face. We put our lives on the line for what that uniform represents. People like this, who wear the uniform of a Sailor, Marine, Soldier, or Airman for the benefits, demean and undermine the integrity of it. I applaud anyone who stands up and calls them out on it.

Our service members lives are on the line every day no matter where they are. They willingly do this in order to serve and protect their country and its citizens. They deserve all the respect and thanks we can give them for it. The people who commit these acts of “Stolen Valor” are so low they could walk under a snakes belly while standing upright. They should arrest-able for impersonating a government employee.God bless our servicemen and women, past and present, and thank you for all you have done and are doing for all of us.
