Another Broken Promise

Congressional Budget Office

By Joe Hakos:  In another slap in the face to this Nation’s veterans, and another broken promise…

the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is studying removing military retirees from Tricare Prime.  At the behest of Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., chairman of the House Budget Committee, and co-author of the recent federal budget that cuts Cost of Living (COLA) increases to veterans, the CBO study insists that removing working age military retirees from Tricare Prime will save the DoD nearly $90 Billion over the next 10 years. Now with friends like Paul Ryan and Chuck Hagel in charge of veterans benefits what other promises made to those who serve this Nation will be broken?

Oh and lets remember that starting 1 April 2014 stateside Tricare Service Centers will be closed.  This will save $50 million a year… “What it will do is allow the department to save $250 million over the next five years, allowing Tricare to invest in more important services.” Hmmm…wonder where they can cut next?

What will become of the greatest military force known to man when the all volunteer force is no longer feasible?Taking the oath

Why serve your Nation when those in charge will rob you of benefits earned or worse yet leave you stranded to fend off overwhelming forces leaving you to die.  What are there more benefits to be giving to illegal immigrants so we can continue to ignore those that served this Nation honorably.

Military Veterans

With more savings like this, the only way this Nation will have a military fighting force is through Conscription. You know…The Draft.

And yes young ones that MEANS YOU! You’re NEXT!

So Pericles proves himself to be correct once again.

So true
