8-Year-Old Pleads With Mom To Help Elderly Woman Up The Steps!

What a sweet young man! What a contribution to his parent is raising him with compassion for others.

This type of story is when you say we need more young people like this little man to make the world better. This is where I add we need more human of all ages like this to change the course of history. Watch this beautiful video:

Contricia Hill said her son saw an elderly woman struggling up the steps and pleaded to help her reach the top. She allowed him while she got the video. This is the best of us in so many ways. It’s old and young, male and female, current and past, black and white, so many different segments to take away with a good feeling.

Maurice was in the car with his mom and sister leaving high school graduation when they saw the woman crossing the road.

His mother, Contricia Hill, told Channel 2 Action News that they began talking about the woman, who was crossing the busy road alone, and her son spoke up.

“He asked, ‘Can I go out there and help her up the steps?'” Hill said.

And that’s exactly what he did. He held the stranger’s arm as she slowly took each stair. At the top, she gave him a hug and the two went on their way.

Hill said she didn’t know anyone was filming the moment, but seeing her son’s act of kindness on the internet makes her proud.

“It’s touching. It’s very touching,” she said. “(It just shows) respect and raising your kids right goes a long way.”

The video was filmed by Riley Duncan, who told Channel 2 Action News he saw the boy stop traffic, hop out of his car and help the woman — and he thought it was a moment that deserved to be shared.
