70-Year-Old Crime Boss Ran Million Dollar Crime Ring Out Of Business

The Police in Dearborn Michigan took down a 70-year-old woman but it wasn’t over nothing.

It is true, Beverly Jo Sassin is 70 years old but she is not innocent. Grandma ran a million dollar crime operation out of business that had heroin addicts being paid to steal merchandise from stores like Target, Kroeger and Home Depot.

I can’t believe she got away with it so long. These addicts must have been very good for grandma to keep her operations going. According to Fox 2 Detroit: “These four people were in a position to move a lot of stuff in a hurry, it’s organized and they know exactly what they’re doing.”

The Dearborn Police Department announced Monday that officers broke up a major retail fraud ring they say stole everything from guns to liquor and even energy drinks.

Dearborn Police said they recovered a trove of stolen goods, including $600,000 in cash – some of which was stuffed in a Velveeta box – as part of an organized crime ring run by a 70-year-old woman.

That woman, identified as Beverly Jo Sassin, was running the crime ring out of her business – the Cas Bar – on Michigan Avenue in Detroit, according to Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad.

“It’s a million dollar operation. this is not somebody looking for a deal at Christmas time or buying some used merchandise from a friend. This is an ongoing criminal enterprise that victimizes everyone,” Haddad said.

My jaw is still on the floor due to this old mum getting away with it for so long. Good job to the Dearborn police for wrapping this up.
