“We’re adults, and we know how to take care of ourselves,” Kelly Coyle, former state Department of Transportation employee, told The Olympian. “I don’t believe you should force someone to inject something in their body that they don’t want and lose your livelihood,”

Coyle claimed that she was forced into early retirement by the vaccine mandate for state workers put in place by Governor Jay Inslee (D), who is forcing all state employees to get vaccinated by October 18.

Though she was granted a religious exemption, Coyle claimed that her employer told her that she could not be accommodated in the workplace due to the danger she allegedly posed to other workers. That’s when she decided to retire rather than get the vaccine.

Coyle and others attending the protest made the point that getting the COVID-19 vaccine should be left up to individuals, without them being afraid of losing their jobs, based on what they decide to do.

“I feel for those people who are losing their jobs,” added Thurston County resident Dena Eagan. “I’m here to stand with all these other people. It’s our bodies, our choice.”

Around 2,500 to 3,000 people attended the rally, known as the “No, you move” Rally Against the Mandate, funded mostly by Turning Point USA. Footage from the rally shows protesters break into the national anthem at one point as they hold American flags and signs that read, “Stand for health freedom,” and “No forced vaccination.”

“I don’t even get the flu shot,” said Cowlitz County resident Theresa Pringle, who also attended the rally. “That’s where choice comes in. I’m a very healthy retiree who can choose. Some people who are not as healthy also can choose.”

A man who only identified himself as “Brent” said that he is married to a school bus driver who fears that she may lose her job for not getting vaccinated, as she is refusing to get the vaccine because she believes in medical freedom.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen, but she’s not happy about it,” he said.

Protests like this one are becoming common all over the United States as more and more vaccine mandates are being put in place by leftwing governors. Americans everywhere are fighting for their freedom to choose what they put into their bodies, rather than being told what shots to get by the government.
