Are you sitting down?

You better be, because this one is a doozy.

You remember that nutty woman “E. Jean Carrol” right?

She’s that crazy former columnist who claims that President Trump “raped” her in a dressing room of a department store. She also claims that she kept the dress she wore that day in her closet for like 35 years.

In addition, she’s also the woman who went on CNN and told an uncomfortable Anderson Cooper that rape was “sexy.”

Well, this nutty woman is now suing President Trump for “defamation.”

She’s claiming that President Trump ruined her reputation when he denied her “rape” claims.

Give me a break….this lady is a complete whacko.

As a matter of fact, she’s such a nutcase, that Joe Biden’s DOJ is actually backing President Trump up in this legal fight.

Daily Caller reports that the DOJ, according to a court filing made Monday with the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, noted that while it isn’t “endorsing” Trump’s conduct, the former president was acting “within the scope of” his job at the time as an elected official.

“In making and defending a Westfall Act certification … the Department of Justice is not endorsing the allegedly tortious conduct or representing that it actually furthered the interests of the United States. Nor is a reviewing court making any such determinations in upholding the Department’s certification,” Brian Boynton, the acting head of the Justice Department’s Civil Division, wrote.

“Speaking to the public and the press on matters of public concern is undoubtedly part of an elected official’s job,” he noted. “Courts have thus consistently and repeatedly held that allegedly defamatory statements made in that context are within the scope of elected officials’ employment — including when the statements were prompted by press inquiries about the official’s private life.”

The piece goes on to say that Biden’s DOJ agrees with the idea that Trump can’t be sued for defamation, as he made the comments while he was president.

Wow. How crazy do you have to be for Biden’s team to back Trump? That’s actually quite remarkable when you think about it.

E. Jean Carroll says that she is “offended” by the decision.

Hopefully, this will put an end to this crazy woman’s antics and she can go off and live out her golden years quietly – even though real justice would be arresting her for making false allegations of “rape.”

But for now, just watching her slither off will be enough.
