People Magazine reported that Buckingham Palace has released details about the funeral, including the procession order. While both William and Harry will be in the procession, their cousin, Peter Phillips (the son of Princess Anne), is set to walk between them.

In the second procession into the chapel, William will walk with Peter, and Harry will walk with David Armstrong-Jones, the son of Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones.

A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace said that the procession order is “a practical change rather than sending a signal.”

That seems highly unlikely that it’s a “practical change” and not a signal, given the tensions between the brothers.

It’s painfully obvious exactly what this is.

Willam is livid with Harry because he and his wife blasted the Royals, and especially William’s wife, Kate, on national TV.

Would you want to walk next to someone who did that?

“This is a funeral and we are not going to be drawn into perceptions of drama. The arrangements have been agreed and represent Her Majesty’s wishes,” the spokesperson added.

Only thirty people will be attending Philip’s funeral due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it will be broadcast live so that millions of people around the world can watch as well.

Harry traveled back to the United Kingdom from his California home for the first time in over a year last Sunday so that he could attend the funeral. He left his wife Meghan Markle behind after she was allegedly advised by doctors not to travel because she is about six months pregnant with her and Harry’s second child.

This comes at a bit of an awkward time for the royal family, as it’s been just one month since Harry and Meghan’s explosive tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. During the interview, Meghan claimed that she was hit with racism from within the royal family, claiming that an unnamed senior royal questioned how dark her then-unborn son Archie’s skin would be. Harry refused to name this family member, only saying that it was neither Queen Elizabeth nor Prince Philip. Meghan also claimed that she felt so isolated as a royal that she considered committing suicide at one point during her pregnancy.

The royal family responded two days later in a brief statement released by Buckingham Palace.

“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan,” the royal family said in a statement obtained by Fox News. “The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan, and Archie will always be much-loved family members.”

It remains to be seen how the royals will handle Philip’s funeral tomorrow.
