How could we forget the summer of riots that brought looting, destruction, and fires to cities across our nation last year? The justices on the Washington Supreme Court certainly didn’t and that’s why Kshama Sawant is in huge trouble.
Sawant, a city official, is facing recall after thinking she was above the rules of her office. Once you’ve seen a Democrat on a power trip, you’ve seen them all but is this a benchmark for holding them accountable?
Kshama Sawant, a radical socialist who serves on the Seattle City Council is now facing a recall. She led hundreds of protesters into Seattle City hall during the riots in the city. Wash. Supreme Court ruled, efforts to remove her are factually & sufficient for recall. Yes👍🏼☺️

[Washington Examiner] “The Washington Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that the effort to remove a Seattle councilwoman, who was accused of allowing protesters into city hall during riots in the city, can proceed.”
City official Kshama Sawant, a socialist, faced a recall after she purportedly “admitted hundreds of people into Seattle City Hall,” “led a protest march to Mayor Jenny Durkan’s private residence,” and “failed to comply with public disclosure requirements,” the court wrote.
Charges were “factually and legally sufficient for recall,” and the effort was allowed to continue, justices concluded.
This is your first daily reminder that the effort to Recall Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant has been approved to move forward!

Seattle socialist council member Kshama Sawant is maybe being recalled for
revealing the address of Mayor Jenny Durkan’s home to protesters who later marched to her home, and for supporting protesters who made CHOP.
Small start but a good one. We must remove these traitors!

THREAD: The WA State supreme court just gave a green light to the billionaire-backed, right-wing recall campaign against Kshama Sawant, Seattle’s socialist city councilmember. We need to go all out to defend Kshama and our movement! https://t.co/6ZG2zVpuXh pic.twitter.com/VU6HXqvdZa

Autonomous Zones are fun when you’re twelve and you don’t let your sister inside your fort. It loses its appeal when you overrun the local police precinct and whip the mob into a frenzy that takes weeks to bring under control. Encouraging looting and rioting may win likes on social media, but the balance of time bends towards justice.
As always, this has been the World According to Chris.
