Why are airlines getting so political?
Heck, it’s not just airlines — it’s all of corporate America.
These corporations are heading down the same failed path that sports franchises and Hollywood stumbled down – and we all know how that ended – yet, these over-emotional communists are still blazing ahead, and you have to wonder, “what the hell are they thinking?”
Clearly, they’re not “thinking.”
Americans have made it clear time and time again, that they don’t want politics mixed into their entertainment and sports. Ratings for sports and entertainment shows have crashed and burned to the ground because of all this politicization.
And if we don’t want politics in our entertainment, we sure as heck don’t want it in our purchases.
Yet, corporations all over America – led by these activist airlines, are getting “woker” than ever before.
For some reason, airlines now believe it’s their place to speak out on “voting laws” that are passed in states where they have their hubs.
Buffoon CEOs, who have no understanding of politics and haven’t read the actual bills, are now speaking out as if they’re elected officials representing all of us.
Coffee, tea, or liberalism? That should be their new motto.
And this garbage is not going over well with anyone.
Delta made a big stink about Georgia’s new election laws, and now American Airlines is chiming in on new provisions passed in Texas.
Here is the American Airlines statement:
Earlier this morning, the Texas State Senate passed legislation with provisions that limit voting access. To make American’s stance clear: We are strongly opposed to this bill and others like it. As a Texas-based business, we must stand up for the rights of our team members and customers who call Texas home, and honor the sacrifices made by generations of Americans to protect and expand the right to vote.
Voting is the hallmark of our democracy, and is the foundation of our great country. We value the democratic process and believe every eligible American should be allowed to exercise their right to vote, no matter which political party or candidate they support.
We acknowledge how difficult this is for many who have fought to secure and exercise their constitutional right to vote. Any legislation dealing with how elections are conducted must ensure ballot integrity and security while making it easier to vote, not harder. At American, we believe we should break down barriers to diversity, equity and inclusion in our society – not create them.
Well, pitbull Texas AG Ken Paxton wasn’t gonna take that “woke” garbage sitting down.
Paxton issued a blistering statement to AA and shoved them right back in the corner where they belong.
This wokeism in corporate America is getting out of control…and if we the people don’t step up (with our wallets) and put an end to this now, it will only get worse.
MUCH, MUCH WORSE…
We need to send a very clear and painful message to these companies and organizations who are getting “political,” that if they “go there” we’ll shut them down with our pocketbooks.
Don’t support them – don’t buy their products, or their tickets, or anything they offer, and let them know why you’re not buying it. Be vocal.
That’s what the left does and why they’re so successful at this “social game.”
We need to step up and do better.
