Well, this is petty with a capital “P.”

After Marjorie Taylor Greene said at CPAC that Guam was a “foreign land,” Democrat Michael San Nicolas decided to use the military to intimidate her.

This move comes right after the Marines tried to intimidate Tucker Carlson.

San Nichols rounded up the entire Guam National Guard and marched to her office.

What the heck is going on? Are we literally North Korea now?

Do you think President Biden should be impeached for the crisis in Afghanistan and loss of American lives?

Apparently, San Nicholas was doing this as a way to bring “awareness” to Guam’s relationship with the U.S., but honestly, it looks like something much more politically motivated than that.

And again, there’s never a “good time” to use the military to intimidate civilians, but this is probably the worst time of all.

From Pacific Daily News

At Greene’s office, San Nicolas was told to circle back because Greene was not in the office. While meeting Greene’s staff, San Nicolas also said he and the Guam National Guard will deliver cookies to other leaders in Washington.

“We appreciate Congressman San Nicolas’ efforts to represent our culture of inafa’maolek, or bringing harmony, practiced here in Guam,” said Maj. Gen. Esther J.C. Aguigui, adjutant general of Guam National Guard. “We also thank Congresswoman Greene for ultimately helping raise awareness of Guamanians as citizens of the U.S.”

Krystal Paco-San Agustin, the director of communications for the governor, said, “We welcome every opportunity to share our island’s rich history and strategic importance on the national stage.”

Del. San Nicolas did not respond for comment as of noon Tuesday.

Juan Carlos Benitez, the chairman of the Republican Party of Guam, has reached out to the congresswoman’s office to explain Guam’s relationship to the United States. Staff from Greene’s office, Carlos said, recognize that the Georgia representative made a mistake.

Can you imagine the outrage if a Republican were to do this to a Democrat opponent?

My God, the entire Dem Party would be foaming at the mouth.

It’s incredibly inappropriate and just highlights again what an extreme double standard there is.

This is such an obvious stunt and something that doesn’t honor military personnel at all.

It’s just something done to score political points.
