Well, looks like Mitch has failed in his attempt to convict President Trump at this clown show impeachment.
But, it’s not like he didn’t try his best. McConnell just announced that he will vote to acquit President Trump.
However, according to Newsmax, it wasn’t the outcome Mitch was hoping for.
“Mitch McConnell has now told his Republican colleagues: he won’t vote to convict President Trump. That means McConnell is finished as a leader. Why? Because McConnell wanted Trump convicted. This is his show. He pushed this sham until it was clear that he didn’t have the votes.”

Don’t be fooled, the GOP was working hand-in-hand with the Dems to try and take down President Trump.
“The second impeachment trial of President Trump is a bi-partisan effort. The Dems & GOP want him out of contention for 2024. The problem for the GOP is that GOP voters now understand their own senators are playing a double game: praise Trump in public but sabotage him quietly.”
A very desperate Mitch McConnell is reportedly unleashing a new plot to try and convince his fellow Republicans to vote to convict President Trump.
Imagine what a vote to convict President Trump would do to the party?
But, Mitch doesn’t care about that – all he cares about is ridding the GOP of Trump’s influence. He’d be fine burning the party down, as long as it meant President Tump’s face and influence were gone for good.
But that’s not going to happen – however, that won’t stop Mitch from trying.
Now, McConnell is supposedly telling fellow Republicans that the impeachment trial is a “conscience vote.” That means Mitch thinks senators should ignore the whole “unconstitutional” thing and vote to convict based on their “conscience.”
He’s really going overboard to try and make this conviction happen.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is signaling to fellow Republicans that the final vote on Donald Trump’s impeachment is matter of conscience and that senators who disputed the constitutionality of the trial could still vote to convict the former president, according to three people familiar with his thinking.
McConnell, in a leadership meeting Monday night, said the same things he has said publicly, a person familiar with the matter said.
On Feb. 2, he told reporters: “We’re all going to listen to what the lawyers have to say and making the arguments and work our way through it.”
McConnell has been telling Republican senators since mid-January that this would be a “vote of conscience.”
The GOP establishment knows that once this impeachment sham is behind him, President Trump will likely make his public comeback, and they’re scrambling to do damage control.
That’s why traitors like Nikki Haley are coming out and publically turning on President Trump.
This is an all-out effort by the swamp to protect its self from Trump who is looming in the shadows right now, poised to make a comeback.
